Mrs. Laurie Casby
Pre-K(3 Year old)
Mrs. Laurie Casby grew up on St Paul’s east side. She has attended Winona State University, St Paul College and Metropolitan State University. She holds degrees in Child Development and Early Childhood Studies. Laurie has been involved in the Early Childhood and Family Education (ECFE) in South Washington County as both a parent with her own daughters since 1996 and as an educator since 2004. She has developed an art enrichment program for elementary children in her school district and volunteered at the Minnesota Children’s Museum in their Program Evaluation and Development Department where she also did some intern work.
Mrs. Casby believes that by facilitating children’s learning through positive guidance and encouragement they will be able to investigate and take the chance they need to begin the journey to a lifelong love of learning. She is committed to providing families with the support and trust they need to help get through the daily struggles and worries of childhood behaviors.
Laurie enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters and mini dachshund. They love to spend time at the family cabin, swimming, boating, watching movies and snowmobiling. She also looks forward to gardening, painting and dancing to Michael Jackson music.
