Kindergarten

Kindergarten is a precious milestone in your child’s life and impacts the tone of your child’s educational future.

JOY Academy’s Full Day Kindergarten meets children where they are and prepares them for the rigors of 1st grade, whether this is their first year of school or they have previously attended preschool or child care.

Kindergartners at JOY Academy participate in a wealth of hands-on activities. The children learn through play and exploration by participating in intentionally planned experiences. Ms. Wutke welcomes children with their own unique gifts into her Responsive Classroom.  Providing children with a strong, developmentally appropriate environment and curriculum helps them reach kindergarten state standards and fosters the love of learning that can last a lifetime.
